Danielle hasn't been able to come over for awhile now, and I had a hankering to record something. Here's a cover of Hey Jealousy. Now you know why Danielle does the recording. I am so darn lo-fi!

I'm recording a real album! Well, not a real album... it's being recorded in my basement. But it's a full-length album!
And since I know everyone is dying to hear about it, I've started a recording journal!
Things are great these days. I've written a couple of new songs and I've rediscovered some that I wrote when I was younger!
Best of all, I'm getting to hang out with Danielle Dulber, who is recording my album. She is awesome. I've totally got a case of revertigo, and I'm pretty happy about it. we're having lots of fun.
On other band fronts, KFCW is gearing up to play Huggabroomstock on August 10. It's going to be an AMAZING festival. You should come! Hopefully I'll get a haircut before then.

Wow. It's been way too long since I've updated. All I have to report is that I'm living in NYC again, hanging out at Sidewalk, being a Huggabroomstik groupie, and playing bass for Kung Fu Crime Wave. I've been fighting some pretty severe writer's block, and haven't been able to finish any of the projects I started in North Carolina. So that's about it I guess.

I added another song to the songs page ... i'm still trying to figure out how to be my own producer... I don't think I'm very good at it. Thanks for all the messages you've left me. I'm moving back to NYC in the middle of May. And I think that's all the news I have.

Yo, man… why’d you make a website anyway?
Well, just as soon as I’d given up on the whole fame/fortune thing, my friend Marsha fwd me a mysterious email from this guy who wanted to use one of my songs in a documentary he had shot. He even offered me money for it. So I thought “wow. I’m going to get paid for work I did seven years ago? And somebody I’ve never met before knows my music? Maybe it isn’t too late for me afterall.”
Not that I’d stopped writing/playing music. I mean, it’s hard to be a music major and get away from that sort of thing. But I wasn’t seeking out attention for my music…
Now I am.
So keep an eye out. There might be some awesome stuff on this website soon.
